Dale Leslie Carlile (Tulia)

Dale Carlile, 78, died Sunday June 19, 2005 in Tulia, Texas. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2005 at the Central Church of Christ with Mr. Trey Morgan officiating and Mr. Eben Emerson assisting. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Mr. Carlile was born May 24, 1927 in Clarendon, Texas. He grew up and attended schools there. He joined the Merchant Marines after High School. After his service he joined his father in the flooring business. He later was a farmer and truck driver. He married Bonnie Tucker on June 2, 1948 in Amarillo. He was a member of the Central Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Carlile of the home; Three daughters and son-in-law, Terry and Alan Dutton of Tulia, Dallana Loper of Abernathy, and Robin Wesley of Amarillo; a sister, Leota Jones of Amarillo; a daughter-in-law, Kathy Carlile of Arlington, Texas; four grandsons, three granddaughters; and one great grandson and one great granddaughter. He was preceded in death by son, Kelly Dale Carlile in 2002, and two grandsons Cory Dale Loper in 1986, and Matt Alan Dutton in 2004.
