Harlen Dizmang (Plainview)

Harlen Dizmang, 76, of Plainview passed away on August 23, 2012 in Plainview. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 25, 2012 at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Oscar Chavez, Chaplain for Area Community Hospice, officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Harlen was born April 4, 1936 to Ernest and Ruby Dizmang in Benkelman, Nebraska. He grew up in Nebraska and worked on the family farm. He moved to Tulia, TX in the 1970’s and worked for Tulia Feed Yard. He went to work for Excel in 1980 and worked for them for 18 years. He owned and operated his own Lawn Service for 15 years. He was a member of Garland Street Church of Christ. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest & Ruby Dizmang; and one sister, Letha Long. He is survived by his wife, Renea Dizmang of Plainview; seven children, Vicki Dizmang Ware of Lubbock, TX, Shelli Bryant of Amarillo, TX, Tammy Koch of North Platt, NE, Shanna Taylor of Garland, TX, Wayne Dizmang & wife Jennifer of Midland, TX, Allan Dizmang & wife Bonnie of Colby, KS, and Loran Dizmang of Moorefield, NE; three brothers, Harold Dizmang of Wauneta, NE, Dale Dizmang of Colorado Springs, CO, and Johnny Dizmang of Imperial, NE; ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; and his beloved dog, Sheba.
