Tulia, Texas—Bobby Lamb, 65, died Tuesday, September 11, 2012 in Amarillo. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, September 14, 2012 in the Tulia Christian Fellowship Church with Rev. Rusty Gray, pastor officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. A visitation will be held from 6:30-8:00 pm on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at the funeral home. Bobby Ray Lamb was born January 13, 1947 in Quanah, Texas to Tom and Mima Lamb. He grew up in Quanah and attended schools there. He served in the US Army from 1967-1970. He married Thresa Graham on May 26, 1969 in Plainview. He farmed in Littlefield and Edmonson. They moved to Ralls and custom farmed. They moved to Tulia in 1984. He worked as the maintenance man for Tulia Housing Authority, farmed for Ken Dawson, he also worked for the Tulia Co-Op and United Farm Industries in Plainview driving a fertilizer truck until 1999. He is preceded in death by his parents; Tom and Mima Lamb, two brothers; Wally Wayne Lamb and Tommy Lamb and one sister; Linda Hope. He is survived by his wife: Thresa Lamb of Tulia, one son and daughter-in-law; Bobby Lamb, Jr. and wife Shannon of Fritch, two daughters and sons-in-law; Sherri Reese and husband Steve of Plainview and Stacy Berry and husband Derrick of Willow Park and ten grandchildren.
