Tulia, Texas—T.W. Moore, Jr., 80, died Thursday, September 13, 2012 in Amarillo. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 am Monday, September 17, 2012 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Rev. Karel Smith, pastor of First Christian Church officiating. Cremation burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Sunday, September 16, 2012 at the funeral home. T. W. Moore, Jr. was born November 18, 1931 in Tulia. He grew up in Tulia and attended Tulia Schools. He married Wanda Lewis on October 15, 1952 in Clovis, NM. He served in the US Army from 1952 to 1954 and then the Army Reserves until 1960. He return to Tulia and worked as a mechanic working at the John Deere House, Ronny George and from 1984 to 1994 he worked for Five Star Gin retiring in 1994. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Tulia since 1965. He is preceded in death by his parents: Thye and Minnie Moore and one sister: Betty Sue Moore. His family includes his wife: Wanda Moore of Tulia, one daughter and son-in-law: Colene and Gary Cook of Brownfield, one son and daughter-in-law: Robert and Debbie Moore of Sweetwater, one sister: Ann Schacher of Tulia, six grandchildren: Amy Dawson of Levelland, Shelley Moore of Tulia, Robin Dean of Manvel, Lauren Greenfield of Lubbock, Meghan Moore of Abilene and Tim Moore of Lubbock and four great grandchildren: Sloan Clay of Tulia, Colby Dawson of Levelland, Foster Reese Dean of Manvel and Claire Dean of Manvel.
