Danny Ray Stoker, 47, of Plainview passed away Friday, November 2, 2007 at Covenant Hospital in Plainview. Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Weiss officiating. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Danny was born on October 5, 1960 in Lockney, Texas. He grew up in East Texas. His family moved to Plainview in 1975. He worked for Wal-Mart Distribution for 18 years before retiring early due to health reasons. He was a Co-Owner of the company Just Stripes. He married Sue Cookston on December 7, 1990 in Plainview. Survivors include his wife Sue Stoker of Plainview; a step-son, Eric Ward of Salinas, California; his father, Jack Stoker of Troup, Texas; two brothers, Andy Stoker of Chandler, Texas, Rodney Stoker of Plainview, Texas; two sisters, Shirley Rawlinson of Lufkin, Texas, Debbie Crosby of Whitehouse, Texas; one grandson, David Kyle Ward of Salina, California. He was the son-in-law to Bill and Rozalyn Cookston and Shirley Cookston of Plainview. He is also survived by Numerous Nieces and Nephews.
