Willie R. Teeter, 80, of Benton, Arkansas formally of Plainview died in Saline Memorial Hospital of Benton, Arkansas on Wednesday, July 6, 2005 at 5:58 pm. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 9, 2005 in the First Baptist Church with Dr. Travis Hart, pastor officiating. Interment will be in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Mr. Teeter was born on June 23, 1925 in Pottsville Arkansas. He married Ruby Rieff on July 14, 1950 in Hale Center, Texas. Willie was a WWII Navy Veteran. He was chosen as farmer of the year and served on the cotton and grain Coop boards. He was an active and beloved member of First Baptist Church in Hale Center for many years and finished his loving service in the First Baptist Church of Plainview. He is survived by his wife Ruby, one son Stanley Teeter & his wife Brenda of Hawkins, Texas; one daughter Vicki Langley and husband Jeff of Bryant, Arkansas; one brother Billy Don Teeter, and one sister Joyce Peggram both of Hale Center; three grandchildren, Brian Teeter of Benton, Arkansas, Adam Langley and his wife Kara of Austin, Texas and Sarah Langley of Bryant, Arkansas.
