Ken Preston (Tulia)

Ken Preston, 75, died Sunday, July 24, 2005 in Tulia. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday, July 27, 2005 in the First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Terry Tallent, pastor officiating. Mr. Preston was born October 30, 1929 in Tuscola, Texas. He grew up in south Taylor County, Texas and attended schools in Abilene. He married Jean Owens on November 15, 1953 in Abilene. After their marriage they lived in Tuscola and he worked at a salvage company in Abilene. They moved to Tulia in 1975. He was self employed and also worked at Tule Lake Country Club. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his wife, Jean Preston of Tulia, Two sons and daughters-in-law; Dennis and Linda Preston of Stinnett, TX and Billy Paul and Cindy Preston of Tulia, TX, One Sister; Tennie B. Graham of Tulia, TX, Three Grandchildren; Paige Riedel of Smyer, TX, Bailey Preston of Tulia, TX and Hayden Preston of Stinnett, TX. Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
