Andrea Rocha Salazar (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Andrea Rocha Salazar, 57, died Tuesday, October 9, 2012 in Amarillo. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, October 11, 2012 at the Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit with Father Marcos Gonzalez, officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. A rosary will be held at 7:00 pm Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at the funeral home. Andrea was born November 9, 1954 in Plainview. She grew up in Tulia and graduated from Tulia High School. She married Jose Luis Salazar on September 18, 1980 in Tulia. She was a housewife and a member of the Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit. She is survived by her husband; Jose Luis Salazar, Sr. of Tulia, one son: Jose Luis Salazar, Jr. of Tulia, three daughters: Angela Cruz Salazar of Lubbock, Amanda Nicole Salazar of Point, Texas and Candi Jo Salazar of Tulia, her mother; Antonia Rocha of Tulia, one brother: Andrew Rocha of Arlington, two sisters; Margie Rocha of Tulia and Esther Aguillar of Tulia and 7 grandchildren and one on the way. She is preceded in death by her father; Pablo Rocha and a sister; Candi Herrera.
