Joshua Joel Martinez (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Josh Martinez, 17, died Wednesday, December 12, 2007 in Tulia. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, December 17, 2007 at the First Baptist Church with Rusty Gray, pastor of Tulia Christian Fellowship Church officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Josh was born April 2, 1990 in Tulia. He grew up here and was a senior at Tulia High School where he was involved in Varsity Football and Baseball. Survivors include his parents, Santos and Vicenta Martinez of Tulia; one sister, Samantha Martinez of Tulia; one brother, Jason Martinez of Tulia; his grandparents, Juan and Mary Martinez of Tulia and Fidela Saenz of Tulia and his great grandparents, Francisca and Refugio Castillo of Tulia; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Rosary service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 16, 2007 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel.
