Tulia, Texas—William Dean House, 71, of Amarillo, died Friday, December 14, 2007 at Odyssey HealthCare in Amarillo. Graveside services will be held Saturday, December 15, 2007 in Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulia with John Rowland of Amarillo officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Dean was born October 26, 1936 in Swisher County, Texas. He graduated from Tulia High School and attended West Texas State College for 1 year. He worked in Banking in Plainview, Littlefield and Hereford and he helped establish the West Texas State Bank in Canyon. He married Sally Duncan in 1987. He was presently working for Taylor Furniture Co. as Credit Manager. Survivors include his wife; Sally House of Amarillo, two daughters; Teresa Moyer of Moriarty, New Mexico, Dena Knierim of Arlington, Texas, two sons; Jeff House of Arlington and Mark House of Canyon, two step-daughters; Cathy Ann Thompson of Okmulgee, Oklahoma and Cindy Sue Burke of Bixby, Oklahoma, two brothers; Elven House and Leland House, both of Tulia, one sister; Etta Kelton of Amarillo, 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
