Maria Cordova Ceballos (Plainview)

Maria Cordova Ceballos, 76, of Lockney passed away Sunday, December 16, 2007 at U.M.C. in Lubbock. Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at San Jose Catholic Church in Lockney with Father Heriberto Mercado officiating. Burial will follow in Lockney Cemetery under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Mrs. Ceballos was born on January 20, 1931 in Rocksprings, Texas and she attended schools there. She was a homemaker and also cleaned houses. She moved to the area in 1956. She was a member of San Jose Catholic Church and a member of the Guadalapanas. She married Manuel Ceballos in May of 1998 in El Paso, Texas. Survivors include her husband, Manuel Ceballos of Lockney; a son, Armando Gonzales of Brackettville, Texas; a daughter, Priscilla Ramos of Lockney; one brother, Julio Cordova of Rocksprings, Texas; one sister, Eloisa Gonzales of Plainview, Texas; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Rosary services will be held on Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview.
