Tulia, Texas—Lynda George, 62, of Tulia, died Thursday, August 18, 2005 in Dallas. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Monday August 22, 2005 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Davenport, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Mrs. George was born August 31, 1942 in Cee Vee, Texas She grew up in the Childress and Turkey area and attended schools in Turkey. She married Ronnie George in 1960. They lived in Tulia since 1974. She was a housewife and a member of First Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband; Ronnie George of Tulia, Texas, One daughter and son-in-law: Michelle and Benny Durham of Kress, Texas, One son and daughter-in-law: Jeff and Shavonne George of Tulia, Texas, One brother: Gordon Rothwell of Plainview, Texas, 4 grandchildren; Lacey Quebe of Lubbock, Texas, Weston Durham of Lubbock, Texas, Brennen George of Tulia, Texas Gentry George of Tulia, Texas.
