Juanita A. Rocha(Tulia)

Juanita A. Rocha, 88, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2005 at BSA Hospice in Amarillo. Rosary services will be held at 7:00pm Sunday, August 28, 2005 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00pm Monday, August 29, 2005 in the Church of the Holy Spirit with Father Scott Raef, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Rocha was born November 5, 1916 in Hamlin, Texas. She grew up in Oklahoma. She married Frank Rocha on January 20, 1937 in Duncan, Oklahoma. They moved to Tulia, Texas in 1954. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of the Holy Spirit and the Guadalupana’s for 35 years. She loved to quilt. Survivors include four daughters; Josephine Cortez of Bridgeport, Texas, Lola and husband Eugene Garcia of Odessa, Texas, Mary Ann and husband Lupe Garcia of Borger, Texas, and Felipa and husband Joe Rodriquez of Tulia, Texas. Three sons; Frank and wife Juanita Rocha, Jr. of Amarillo, Texas, Robert and wife Martha Rocha of Tulia, Texas, and John Rocha of Frisco, Texas. One Brother: Tino Andrada of Moore, Oklahoma. Two Sisters: Pauline Odem of Altus, Oklahoma and Margaret Easter of Yucaipa, California. 30 Grandchildren and 52 Great Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, one son; Zeke Rocha, two brothers; Fidel Andrada and Agapito Andrada and one grandchild.
