Wendy Aldridge (Tulia)

Wendy Lee Aldridge, 39, died Sunday, November 11, 2012 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Stone and Rev. Charles Davenport, officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Visitation will be held 6-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Aldridge was born August 31, 1973 in Tulia, Texas to Richard and Ernesteene Aldridge. She grew up in Tulia and graduated from Tulia High School. She graduated as an LVN from South Plains College in 1995. She worked as a school nurse in Dimmitt and moved to Sulphur, Louisiana in 2001 to continue her nursing career. She was a member of the American Nurses Association and First Baptist Church in Tulia. She is survived by her children: Savannah Page Aldridge, Richard Bruce Aldridge, Stephen Cole Aldridge, Ashley Powell, Morgan Powell, Edward Powell, Jr. and Jarett Cormier; Parents: Rick & Ernesteene Aldridge; Fiance: Edward Powell, Sr.; Siblings: Terry Aldridge, Timothy & Jamie Aldridge & family, Brucella Aldridge and Karen Reed; grandson: Richard Bruce Aldridge, Jr. and All of her adopted children in Louisiana.
