Richard H. Trimble (Plainview)

Richard H. Trimble, 75, of Plainview, went to meet his Lord and Savior on Monday, September 12, 2005 at 7:45 a.m. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Lubbock Primitive Baptist Church with Elder George Johnson, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at Silverton Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Richard was born September 30, 1929 in Wellington as the sixth of eight children of Jonathan Bunyan and Mary Frances Goforth Trimble. He was a 1950 graduate of Hale Center High School. Richard served as a military policeman in the Korean War. He spent more than 50 years in the farming and agriculture industry, most recently as a field representative for Clint Williams Peanut Company since 1995. Richard was a deacon at Lubbock Primitive Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Jeannie; two daughters Linda Gilliam and her husband Bobby; Julie Howington and her husband Michael, all of Waco; three grandchildren Luke, Rebekah, and Leah Gilliam; one brother Royce Trimble of Tishomingo, OK; one sister Erma Fuller of Durant, OK; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Memorials may be made to Lubbock Primitive Baptist Church, 4401 N.
