Gertrude Pevehouse (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas-Rohnania Gertrude Pevehouse 91, died Sunday, December 16, 2012 in Tulia. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, December 22, 2012 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Mr. Harold Drake officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. She was born January 31, 1921 in Lamesa to Grady and Exie Martin. She grew up in Kress and attended schools there. She lived in California from the early 1950’s until she returned to Tulia in 1970 to take care of her parents. She was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her parents: Grady and Exie Martin and four brothers: Bill Martin, Delbert Martin, Leon Martin and Roy Martin. She is survived by two brothers: Carl Martin of Arlington and Harold Martin of Tulia, two sisters: Gracie Hammons of Tulia and Janis Andrus and husband Charles of Tulia and numerous nieces and nephews.
