Glenda Palmer (Plainview)

Glenda Jo Palmer, 62, died Friday, December 21, 2012 in Plainview. Celebration of life services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 28, 2012 at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Stephen Muncy officiating. Glenda was born January 3, 1950 to Glen Wilburn and JoAnn Smith Underwood. She was a lifelong resident of Plainview and graduated from Plainview High School in 1968. She married Glen Roy Palmer on June 20, 1969. She was an avid musician until her thyroid problems. She loved to cook for others on their special occasions. Glenda was most known for the love of her family. She was preceded in death by her father in 2000. She was a great daughter, wife, sister, aunt, and sister in law. She is survived by her husband of the home; her mother, JoAnn of Plainview; two brothers, Galen Underwood, and Terry Underwood & wife Diane all of Plainview; four nieces, Christy Willhite & husband Joe, Amy Attebury & husband Bryan, Jennifer Muncy & husband Stephen, and Amber Thomas & fiancée Gabe Molina; eight grandnieces and nephews, Cory, Jaycie, Amilee, Brittany, Jacob, Emilia, Harper, Berkley, and Luke.
