Bobby Gipson, Sr. (Plainview)

Bobby R. Gipson, 73, of Plainview, died on December 30, 2012 in Plainview. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Chaplain, Oscar Chavez officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at the funeral home. Bobby was born July 3, 1939 to Charles and Bessie Gipson in Paris, Texas. He married Wilma Gail Fugett in 1959 in Clovis New Mexico. He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Clyde & Jessie Gipson; three sisters, Joyce Box, Nita Dorsey, and Agnus Jones; and one great granddaughter, Aiden Grace Kimbrell. He is survived by his wife Wilma Gipson of Plainview, TX; one daughter, Linda Gail George of Plainview, TX; one son, Bobby Gipson, Jr. & wife Sandra of Plainview, TX; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
