Albert O. Jimenez, 64 of Plainview passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2013 in Lubbock. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 7, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Arsenio Redulla officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A prayer service will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home and a Rosary will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Albert was born October 21, 1948 to Hijenio & Rosa Jimenez in Plainview, TX. He married Rebecca DeLaCruz on June 21, 1969 in Plainview. He owned and operated West Texas Upholstery. He was a member at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Hijenio & Rosa Jimenez; one brother, Alfonso Jimenez; and one sister, JoAnn Jimenez. He is survived by his wife Rebecca Jimenez of Plainview, TX; two daughters, RoseAnn Jimenez & Arlene Jimenez; one son, Albert Lee “Bo” Jimenez all of Plainview, TX; three brothers, B.J. Jimenez of Amarillo, TX, Ernesto Jimenez of Plainview, TX, and Luis Jimenez of San Benito, TX; four sisters, Ernestina Ramos Jimenez of Amarillo, TX, Mary Cortez of Lubbock, TX, Frances Carrasco of Odessa, TX, and Paulina Cardenas of Joliet, IL; and seven grandchildren.
