DeLories Skaggs(Plainview)

DeLories Skaggs, 63, of Plainview, passed away at 10:22 a.m. Friday, September 16, 2005. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 19, 2005 at College Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Don Robertson, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park by Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. DeLories was born on March 25, 1942 in Plainview to Carmel and Evelyn Louise Taylor Hudgins. She grew up in Plainview and attended Seth Ward Grade School and graduated from Plainview High School in 1958. She was a past member of the Republican Women and a member of First Baptist Church. She had been a school bus driver in Plainview since 1978. She is survived by four children: Randy Skaggs and his wife Shearon of Houston, Texas, Sandra Lampkin and her husband Leland of Seale, Alabama, Edward Skaggs and his wife Tina of Houston, and Debra Ontiveros of Plainview, Texas; one sister: Joyce Senter and husband Lewis of Plainview; six grandchildren: Crystal Averett, Brandon Lampkin, Chad Lampkin, Kayla Lampkin, Shawn Smith, Megan Smith; 2 great grandchildren; one niece: Carmen Hayes of Midland; one nephew: Richard Senter of Canadian, Texas. A visitation for family and friends will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Kornerstone Funeral Directors.
