Calvin C. Patridge (Plainview)

Calvin Patridge, 89, of Plainview, died on February 9, 2013. Funeral services were held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 11, 2013 at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Mr. Jon Armstrong officiating. Burial followed in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Calvin was born October 18, 1923 to Owen and Rosie Patridge in Hopkins County. He married Loyce Imogene Bacon on August 3, 1942 in Sulphur Springs, TX. She preceded him in death. He is survived by two daughters, Sheila Armstrong of Sulphur Springs, TX, and Jeanna Barnes of Plainview, TX; six sons, Danny Patridge of San Angelo, TX, Greg Patridge of Lockney, TX, Doyce Patridge of Plainview, TX, Jerry Patridge of Oklahoma City, OK, Steve Patridge of Post, TX, and Joel Patridge of Plainview, TX; one sister, Ruth Nix of Greenville, TX; one sister in law, Faye Patridge of Arlington, TX; sixteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and eleven great great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, his parents, one daughter, Sherry Ann Ray; two brothers, Odis Patridge, and Roy Patridge; five sisters, Mary Stark, Betty Brock, Viola Groves, Addy Finch, and Christine Wright; and one granddaughter, Lauren Armstrong.
