Jessie L. Perez (Plainview)

Jessie L. Perez, 85 passed away Sunday, February 10, 2013 in Lubbock. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 15, 2013 at Templo de Alabanza in Amarillo with Rev. Ezequiel Contreras officiating. Interment will follow in Llano Cemetery in Amarillo under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, February 14, 2013 at the funeral home. Mr. Perez was born on October 15, 1927 to Placido and Efren Perez in Rome, Texas. He married Teresa Ramos on November 7, 1948. He is survived by his wife Teresa of Lubbock, six daughters, Efren Perez of Lubbock, Frances Muniz of Amarillo, Lucy Liscano of Lubbock, Josie Pena of Lubbock, Mary Castillo of Lubbock and Liz Luna of The Colony; two sons, Jesse Perez of Vacaville, CA and Danny Perez of Amarillo; twenty four grandchildren, thirty seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
