Billy Don Teeter, 79, of Hale Center died on February 13, 2013 in Lubbock. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 16, 2013 at First United Methodist Church in Hale Center with Rev. Jimmy Cameron officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:30 Friday evening at the funeral home. Billy Don was born October 8, 1933 to William and Beryl Teeter in Liberty, TX. He married Karen McBeth on January 18, 2004 in Lewisville, TX. He was a member and served on the administrative council at First United Methodist Church. He was a past president of Texas Flying Farmers. He participated in Life Gift Donation. He is survived by his wife Karen Teeter of Hale Center, TX; one daughter, Dyana Ashcraft of LaPorte, TX; one son, Gary Teeter & partner Dean Lowry of Houston, TX; one sister, Joyce Peggram & husband Don of Hale Center; extended family, Jay McBeth & wife Jane Busby of Lewisville, TX, Cynthia Hawkins & husband David of Coppell, TX, and Amy Owen & husband Tim of Douglass, TX; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren with one on the way.
