Maria DeJesus Flores (Plainview)

Maria DeJesus Flores 74, of Plainview, died on February 20, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Immaculate Concepcion Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Muleshoe Memorial Park in Muleshoe, TX under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A rosary will be held at 6:30 P.M. Friday, February 22, 2013 at the funeral home. Maria was born February 5, 1939 to Jose Angel & Flora Lopez in San Louis Potosi, Mexico. She is preceded in death by her husband, Secundino Mendoza, and second husband, Hector Flores. She is survived by one daughter, Florinda Mendoza-Champion & husband Joe of Plainview, TX; three sons, Martin Mendoza & wife Paula of Stafford, VA, and Joe Mendoza & wife Maggie of Hale Center, TX, Michael Mendoza & wife Christina of Plainview, TX; two brothers, Hildrado Lopez and Angel Lopez both of Montemorelos, MX; three sisters, Maria Acuncion Lopez of Monterrey, MX, Erlinda Lopez of Montemorelos, MX, and Maria Louisa Lopez of Monterrey, MX; five stepchildren, Robert Flores of Fort Oglethorpe, GA, Maria Lopez of San Antonio, TX, Delores Perez of Allen, TX, Martha Castorena of Coperras Cove, TX, and Hector Flores, Jr. of Lubbock, TX; fourteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
