Robert Medellin (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Robert Medellin, 62, died Saturday, March 16, 2013 in Littlefield, TX. A prayer service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2013 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Father Marcos Gonzales, officiating. A Graveside Service will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Robert was born October 11, 1950 in Fairmont Minnesota. He grew up in Haskell, Texas then moved to Taylor, Texas in 1973. He moved to Dallas in 1997 and came to Tulia in 2009. He liked to listen to country music and for him his nieces and nephews were important. He was preceded in death by his parents: Manuel and Guadalupe Medellin, his sister: Janie Medellin. Survivors include his three sisters: Yolanda Luna and Ester Martinez, both of Tulia, Rachel Medellin of Austin, and eight Brothers: Santiago Medellin of Floydada, Lupe and Jesse Medellin both of Plainview, Ray Medellin of Austin, Edward Medellin of Amarillo, Alvino and Freddie Medellin both of Tulia and Manuel Jr. Medellin of Amarillo.
