Len Doan (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Len Doan, 52, died Friday, March 29, 2013 in Amarillo. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Monday, April 1, 2013 in the First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Ernie McGaughey officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 31, 2013 from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at the funeral home. Len was born June 27, 1960 in Tulia to Jim and Dorothy Sue Doan. He grew up in Tulia where he raced Motocross for several years, loved Hot Rods, Rock N’ Roll and farming with his dad. He was a very good mechanic from an early age and he loved spending time with his family and friends. He attended Tulia High School. He is preceded in death by his father Jim Doan on February 26, 2013. He is survived by his mother: Dorothy Sue Doan of Tulia, three sisters: Jan Meador and husband Keith of Dalhart, Kim Davis and husband Rick of Amarillo and Suann Doan of Tulia, seven nieces and nephews: John Meador and wife Ellise of Umbarger, Jared Meador and wife Kendra of Amarillo, Jay Meador and wife Audrey of Canyon, Jaclen Meador of Dalhart, Jordan Meador of Canyon, Whitney Fernandez and husband Gabe of Canyon and Jordan Davis of Lubbock, 12 great nieces and nephews.
