Tulia, Texas—Lois Dean (Gardner) Watson, 58, died Saturday, May 25, 2013 in Texas City. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, June 1, 2013 in Rose Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. She is preceded in death by her parents: Curtis L. and Gertrude Gardner, Sr., two brothers: Roger Eugene Gardner and Jessie Delane Gardner and one sister: Eunice June Gardner. She is survived by two uncles: Roosevelt Monroe of Plainview and Leroy Dick of Tulia, two aunts: Alberta Nails and Phoebe Dunlap of Plainview, her brothers and sisters: Curtis L. Gardner, Jr. and wife Merline of Amarillo, Julius Gardner and wife Jean of Tulia, Hansel Gardner and wife Darlene of Colgate, Oklahoma, John Gardner and wife Mae of Midland, Ella M. Henderson and husband Cleveland, Doretha Johnson and husband Bobby, her soul mate: Aldie White, one son: Timothy Wayne Towery, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
