Vaudine W. Vaughn (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Vaudine W. Vaughn, 78, died Sunday, June 9, 2013 in Amarillo. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, June 12, 2013 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Vaudine was born March 13, 1935 in Weatherford. She grew up in Mineral Wells and attended schools there. She married Floyd Flow. They lived in Amarillo for a number of years. She later moved to Tulia. She met and married Elwyn Vaughn in Tulia on March 30, 1978. She was a waitress all her life. She retired in 1988. Her family incudes her husband: Elwyn Vaughn of Tulia, children: Floyd Flow and wife Susan of Amarillo, Bobby Vaughn and wife Kathy of Tulia, Gary Vaughn and wife Cheryl of Tulia, Kelly Vaughn and wife Kathy of Tulia, Alex Vaughn and wife Dana of Midlothian and Dana K. Vaughn of Waxahachie, one brother: Red West and wife Wanda of Mineral Wells, two sisters: Thelma Yalch and husband Ted of Lindale and Bess Davis of Mineral Wells and one other sister-in-law: Betty West of Mineral Wells, 14 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Senior Citizens or Meals on Wheels, 609 SE 2nd, Tulia, Texas 79088.
