Wanda Katherine Dixon Ebeling peacefully passed away Friday, June 14, 2013 at the age of 84 in the BSA Hospice Center in Amarillo TX. Memorial services will be held held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, June 17, 2013 in Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Karel Smith officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Wanda was born on December 30, 1928 to James M. and Kate Dixon. She married Marshall Ebeling on September 11, 1948 and was happily married for 64 years. They farmed and had four children in Hereford, TX. They also lived in Canyon, TX before moving to Tulia, TX where another child became part of the family. They opened and operated The Spudnut Shop which later became The Donut Shop for 30 years from July 11, 1965 until July 11, 1995. Wanda also worked at Alco for several years and A Touch of Health. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Tulia, TX and was very active in numerous activities and volunteer work. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents and an older brother James Dixon. She is survived by her husband Marshall,five children: Stanley Ebeling and wife Dianne from San Antonio, TX, Allan Ebeling and wife Labob from Georgetown, TX, Traver Ann (Ebeling) Clements and husband Jerry from Amarillo, TX, Chet Ebeling from Cedar Park, TX, and Tim Ebeling from Tulia, TX. One sister, Lurline Cawthon of Amarillo; seven grandchildren: Britni, Cali, Slayton, Jason, Chance, Colton and Sidney and two great grandchildren: Kinley and Nova.
