Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, April 14, 2008 in the Church of the Holy Spirit with Father Ken Keller, officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. A vigil service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Sunday, April 13, 2008 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel. Mr. Rossi was born September 27, 1927 in Montague, Texas. He moved to Tulia in 1929. He graduated from Happy High School. He served in the US Navy during WWII. He married Dolores Anderwald on January 24, 1951 in Happy, TX. He was a self-employed painter and paperhanger. He was a member of the Church of the Holy Spirit, the VFW and American Legion. Survivors include his wife; Dolores Rossi of Tulia, one son and daughter-in-law; Greg and Deborah Rossi of Austin, TX, three sisters; Inez Cox of Tulia, Ann Anderwald and Virginia Gerber , both of Amarillo, three grandchildren; Crystal Funk, Larry Funk and Marianne Ealy and 5 great grandchildren; Johnny, Marcelo, Omniver, Caleb and Elizah.
