Trae Donovan Griego (Plainview)

Trae Donovan Griego, 16, of Plainview passed away on Monday, July 1, 2013. Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday, July 5, 2013 at the Outcast International Ministries (106 S.E. 2nd Street, Plainview) with Pastor Helen Brooks officiating and Kevin Polk assisting. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home. Trae was born on October 26, 1996 in Amarillo to Gabriel, Jr. and DeDe Griego. He was a very active in Plainview High School sports and loved to play football. He loved music and enjoyed classical music. He also loved to build things and was member of the PHS Robotics Team that built the B52 Flying Fortress which won the Tin Man VIII South Plains College Robotics Class Robot Battle competition in 2012. The family loved their “Little Graham Cracker”. He is survived by his parents, Gabriel and DeDe Griego of Plainview; three brothers, Zane Michael Griego, Kyle Lee Griego, Dice Alan Griego and a sister, Calie Elizabeth Griego all of Plainview; paternal grandmother, Janette Griego of Plainview; maternal grandparents, James and Judy Wiggins of Plainview; and two aunts, Annette Griego of Pampa, and Christi Williams of Fritch.
