Lana Carlton (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas--Lana Carlton, 63, died Sunday, September 1, 2013 in Amarillo. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, September 7, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Donna Nelson, pastor officiating and Rev. Ernie McGaughey assisting. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Lana was born in Tulia on March 20, 1950 to J.R. and Catherine Sprawls. She grew up in Tulia and graduated from Tulia High School. She married Jim Carlton on February 20, 1971 in Tulia. She was a housewife and a member of the First United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband: Jim Carlton of Tulia, her daughter: Jessica Carlton Hatley of Amarillo and her brother: Jan Sprawls of Tulia.
