Barbara Shelton (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas- Barbara Shelton, 69, died at 6:35 a.m. Thursday, November 3, 2005 in the Swisher Memorial Hospital in Tulia. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, November 5, 2005 in the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Ernie McGaughey, retired Methodist Minister officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the directions of Kornerstone Funeral Directors. She was born March 4, 1936 in Paris, Texas. She graduated from Petersburg High School in 1954. She married Ed Shelton on June 3, 1956 in Plainview. After they married they moved to Tulia. She had worked for Taylor-Evans Seed Company for 13 years. She was a member of First United Methodsit Church. Survivors include: Her Husband, Ed Shelton of Tulia, One Daughter; Latonya Moore of Tulia, One Son; Eddie Shelton of Tulia, Two Brothers; W.C. Montgomery of Plano and Ronald Montgomery of Lubbock. Also by Three Grandchildren; Mason Moore, Bryce Shelton and Breigh Shelton, all of Tulia.
