Tommie Fletcher Malone (Plainview)

Tommie Fletcher Malone, 84, of Plainview died on September 6, 2013 in Plainview. Private family services are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Mrs. Malone was born October 13, 1928 in Plainview, Texas to John Thomas and Ora Jane Fletcher. She grew up in Plainview and graduated from Plainview High School in 1947 and from Wayland Baptist in 1952. She taught for 26 years starting at College Hill then Edgemere and ending at Lakeside. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Mrs. Malone was preceded in death by her husband; Charles Dawson Malone and one son; Mark Fletcher Malone. She is survived by one daughter: Dawn Malone of Houston; one sister: Alice Eubanks of Plainview and five grandchildren.
