Debra Reeves (Plainview)

Debra Reeves, 60, of Plainview passed away on Friday, September 13, 2013. Celebration of Life service will be at 2:00 P.M. Monday, September 16, 2013 at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, September 15, 2013 at the funeral home. Debra was born May 6, 1953 in Columbus, Ohio. She graduated from Plainview High School and Texas Tech University. She taught in Plainview schools for 28 years, retiring from LaMesa Elementary in 2009. She was very active in Cub Scouts and her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and family. She was preceded in death by her father: Oral Lee Haigood. She is survived by her husband: Joey Reeves of Plainview; two daughters: Lori Alston of Plainview and Amy Minne and husband Jules of Lubbock; her mother Lois Mayfield and husband Archie of Archer City, Texas; two brothers: Mike Haigood and wife Terecia and Chuck Haigood and wife Gay and three grandchildren: Zayden Alston, Ava Minne and Ashton Minne. Memorials may be made to the local Cub Scouts.
