Suzanne Davis (Plainview)

Suzanne Davis, 94, of Hale Center, passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2013. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, September 23, 2013 at First United Methodist Church in Hale Center, Texas with Rev. Jimmy Cameron officiating under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview, Texas. A visitation will be held on Sunday evening from 4 to 5:30 P.M. at Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Suzanne was born on March 28, 1919 in Hale Center, Texas to Silas and Sue Mag Maggard. She married Wesley Davis on June 5, 1938. Suzanne was a member of First United Methodist Church and loved her church. She loved Hale Center and her family and was very patriotic. She loved going to basketball games and cheer for Hale Center and Texas Tech. Suzanne was preceded in death by her husband; Wesley Davis, parents; Silas and Sue Davis. Survivors include her children: Daphne Ashburn and husband Jackson, Arden Davis and wife Sandra all of Lubbock, Alan Davis and wife Kathy of Hale Center; one sister: Flora Maggard of Lubbock. Seven grandchildren: Jared Ashburn, Allison Ashburn, Casey Davis and wife Kristen, Chad Davis, Lindsay Grannon and husband Matt, Matt Davis and wife Jaimie and Clint Davis.
