Betty Jean Linville Raymer left this earthly world on Friday, November 8, 2013. Funeral services will be 4:00 P.M. Monday, November 11, 2013 in Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Mr. Jim Adams of Dare to Believe Outreach Center. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Betty was a beautiful spirit, born in Plainview, Texas on April 12, 1939 to Ottie Charles Linville and Addie Ruth McGaugh. On August 7, 1954, she married Jimmie Raymer in Clovis, New Mexico. Together she and Jimmie made a home in Plainview and had three wonderful children. Both Betty's parents and her two sons, Bobby and Randy, are pre-deceased. Betty is survived by her husband Jimmie, her daughter Twyla Atwood and husband Robert of Carlsbad, New Mexico. Grandchildren are Dana Micklos and husband Jim of Flagstaff, Arizona; Chris Atwood and wife Jolie of Carlsbad; Justin Raymer of Carlsbad; Ashley Shelburne and husband Johnny of Tulia, Texas. Great-grandchildren are Ryan and Sissy Atwood of Carlsbad; and Brooklynn and Cutter Shelburne of Tulia. Betty is also survived by brother Joe Bob Callahan and wife Frances of Amarillo and sister Anna Callahan and husband Bobby Rosales of Austin. Betty leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews, her husband's family members, and countless friends and extended family. She also leaves behind her special family members, Stinker the cat, and granddogs Sadie and Izzy. Betty was a lively and enthusiastic part of the Plainview community, enjoying the slots, garage sales, and supporting the thrift store industry. Betty was charitable, fun loving, and open to all she met. Everyone was always welcome at her table. She will forever live in our hearts.
