Consuelo Ramirez (Plainview)

Kress, Texas- Consuelo Garcia Ramirez, 63, of Kress passed away Friday, June 6, 2008 at her home in Kress. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 9, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. in the St. Paul’s Catholic Church with Father Fernando Ruge officiating. Burial will follow in Kress Cemetery under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday evening at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Kress where her body will lie in state until service time. Mrs. Ramirez was born on September 14, 1944 in Yancey, Texas. She married Guadalupe Ramirez in 1963 in Plainview. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband on August 9, 1986. Survivors include five daughters, Mary Muniz of Justin, Texas, Nancy Ramirez of Kress, Texas, Beatrice Perez of Justin, Texas, Samantha Quesada of Kress, Texas, Raquel Ramirez of Cleburne, Texas; four sons, Guadalupe Ramirez, Jr. of Kress, Texas, Anselmo Ramirez of Floydada, Texas, Abel Ramirez of Justin, Texas, Francisco Ramirez of Plainview, Texas; three brothers, Alfredo Garcia of Tulia, Texas, Joe Garcia of Borger, Texas, Frank Garcia of Kress, Texas; three sisters, Ofelia Chapa of Plainview, Texas, Josie Gonzalez of Tulia, Texas, Sara Rodriguez of Plainview, Texas; 34 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren.
