Larry R. Waugh (Plainview)

Plainview, Texas- Larry R. Waugh passed away on June 6, 2008 in Dallas. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints with Branch President Kay Porter officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home Mr. Waugh was born October 31, 1952 in San Bernardino, California. He grew up in Yucaipa, California. He attended schools there and graduated from Yucaipa High School in 1970. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps and served four years. He was a truck driver for many years. He married Donna Marks on January 24, 2004 in Chino, California. They moved to Plainview in March of 2005. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints. Survivors include his wife, Donna Waugh of Plainview; a daughter, Ammie Waugh of Plainview; two brothers, Danny Waugh of Linwood, Washington, James Waugh of Arizona; one sister and brother-in-law, Kelly and Jonnie Matus; and his nieces, Michelle Marks, Brittnee Matus, Breanna Matus, Shawnie Matus, Angelina Matus, Kristina Thornton, Kassandra Thornton, Jennifer Prado, Raylee Mohammad, Adaria Mohammad.
