Tulia, Texas— Carol Hatcher, 73, died Friday, November 29, 2013 in Tulia. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 3, 2013 in the First Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Stone, pastor officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Carol was born October 7, 1940 in Chillicothe to Harold and Anna Beth Butler. She attended schools at Chillicothe, Merced, California and moved to Quanah in the 8th grade. She married Charles Hatcher on May 20, 1959 in Quanah. They moved to Tulia and they made their home here. She was a housewife and a member of First Baptist Church in Tulia. She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister: Sheila Brokaw. She is survived by her husband: Charles Hatcher of Tulia, two daughters: Lisa Reeves and husband Frank of Tulia and Mary Catherine Chadwick and husband Robert of Tulia, one son: Michael Hatcher and wife Debra of Midlothian, two brothers: Gene Butler and wife Anita of Midland and Bob Butler and wife Twila of Quanah, one sister: Ann Loveless of Quanah, six grandchildren: Zach Reeves, Ryan Hatcher Amber Hatcher, Kayla Chadwick, Megan Chadwick and Chris Chadwick and three great grandchildren: Christian Hatcher, Ayden Hatcher and Kaylee Hatcher. The family suggests memorials to the First Baptist Church Youth Fund, Tulia, Texas.
