Tulia, Texas—Yvonne Gonzales, 72, died Friday, December 6, 2013 in Tulia. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 10, 2013 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Rev. Rusty Gray, pastor of Tulia Christian Fellowship officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Yvonne was born January 11, 1941 in Opp, Alabama to Mack and Racine Aplin. She moved to Tulia at the age of four and lived here all her life. She was raised by her mom and dad: Racine and Earl Ebb Burrow. She graduated from Tulia High School. She married Adam Gonzales on June 3, 1994 in Tulia. She worked for the Tulia Day Nursery for over 20 years. She is preceded in death by parents: Mack Aplin and Racine and Earl Ebb Burrow. She is survived by her husband: Adam Gonzales of Tulia, her daughter: Teresa Friend and husband Peter of Amarillo, one brother: Roger Burrow of Tulia, one sister: Patricia Mitchell of Amarillo, four grandsons: Kenneth Braden of Amarillo, Matthew Braden of Amarillo, Brian Friend of Clinton, Missouri and Noah Friend of Amarillo and one granddaughter: Nacoal Friend of Orlando, Florida.
