Ralph Hernandez (Plainview)

Ralph Hernandez, 66, of Lockney, passed away on January 8, 2014 in Lockney. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 11, 2014 at St. Alice Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Lockney Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. Friday, January 10, 2014 at St. Jose Catholic Church in Lockney, TX. Rafael was born on October 24, 1947 to Juan and Victoria Hernandez in San Marcos, TX. He married Elizabeth Ann “Libby” Davis on April 16, 1966 in Lockney. He was a member of Lake Horner Club and San Jose Catholic Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Marcelino Hernandez. He is survived by his wife Libby Hernandez of Lockney; five daughters, Laura DeLuna & husband Phillip, Jr. of Plainview, TX, Donna Guerra of Plainview, TX, DeeAnn Hernandez of Lubbock, TX, Debra Gonzales & husband Fabian of Amarillo, TX, and Amy Elias of Lockney, TX; one son, Justyn Davis Hernandez of San Antonio, TX; and a grandson he raised, Kevin Hernandez & wife Crystal of Amarillo, TX; three brothers, Domingo Hernandez & wife Tina of Lockney, TX, Felix Hernandez & wife Josie of Lockney, TX, and Mario Hernandez & wife Pat of Lubbock, TX; Nancy Ochoa of Mesquite, TX, Dominga Sustaita & husband Joe of Lockney, TX, and Janie Palomin of Lockney, TX; four adopted children, Janae Reyes, Jocelynn Reyes, Jaylin Reyes, and Mikayla Hernandez; fourteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and four step great grandchildren.
