Kenneth Grady (Plainview)

Kenneth Ray Grady, 60, of Plainview passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2014. A Memorial service will be held at 10 A.M. Monday, January 20, 2014 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Kenneth was born on August 6, 1953 in Rantoul, Illinois to James and Jeannie Grady. He grew up and attended schools in Miami, Arizona before his family moved to Porterville, California. He worked for the Department of Corrections in California for 17 years and retired in 2009. He then moved to Plainview, Texas and worked at the Wheeler/Formby Units for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice until his death. He really loved working for the Department of Corrections. He is survived by his wife Janice Stewart of Las Cruces, NM; one son, Alex Grady of Oregon; step-daughter, Stephanie Stewart of San Diego, CA; two brothers, Douglas Grady of Porterville, CA, Michael Grady of Lancaster, CA; one sister, Sandra Newman of Porterville, CA.
