Derrik Daniels (Plainview)

Derrik Alan Daniels, 16, of Plainview passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2014 in Lubbock. Memorial services will be held at 4:30 P.M., Thursday, January 23, 2014 in Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Rev. Ron Brunson, Pastor of Plainview New Covenant Church. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Derrik was born on January 21, 1997 in Plainview, Texas to David and Debbie Daniels. He grew up in Plainview and attended schools. He loved computers and playing video games. He also loved to make people laugh. Derrik was a family oriented kid and would help anybody that needed it. He was an Organ Donor and will save many lives with his and his families giving generosity. Derrik was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, David A. and Mary Jo Daniels Survivors include his parents, David and Debbie Daniels of Plainview; one brother, Dillon Scot Pomykal of Plainview; and his maternal grandparents, Charles and Tricia Pomykal of Plainview; two aunts, Tammie Smith and Kathy Knipe of Plainview; two uncles, Richard Pomykal and Randy Pomykal of Plainview; and Many Cousins and other Family members.
