Richard Carroll (Plainview)

Richard Carroll, 79, of Clovis passed away on February 6, 2014 in Plainview. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 10, 2014 at College Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Malcolm of Western Heritage Fellowship of Hale Center officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A visitation will be held on Sunday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. at Kornerstone. Richard was born on November 23, 1934 in Statford, OK to Harry and Addie Carroll. He married Barbara Thomas on November 8, 1975 in Roswell, NM. She preceded him in death in 2011. Richard was a Court Reporter for 24 years. Survivors include his four children, Richard Carroll Jr. and wife Tami of Las Cruces, NM, Debra Stevens and husband Danny Wichita, Kansas, Carmin Belt and husband Johnnie of Plainview, Greg Carroll and wife Cassie of Plainview; two step children, Kathy Parker of Clovis, Mike Vandiver of Albuquerque; two brothers, Clayton Carroll of Wink, Donald Carroll and wife Shirley of Tulia; two sisters, Jimmie Ruth Matner of Glen Rose, Christina Anderson and husband Robert; 13 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and one on the way.
