Manuel Chasco(Tulia)

Happy, Texas—Manuel Chasco, 62, died Sunday, June 29, 2008 in Amarillo. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 3, 2008 in the Central Church of Christ in Tulia with Rev. Delfino Ruiz officiating. Burial will follow in Happy Cemetery under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Mr. Chasco was born July 4, 1945 in Edinberg, Texas where he grew up and attended schools. He married Hope San Miguel on May 21, 1966. They moved to Swisher County in 1968. He was an area farmer all his life. Survivors include his wife; Hope Chasco of Happy, three daughters; Sandy Arcy of Tulia, Elsa Carrasco of Tulia and Edna Flores of Grand Prairie, Two Sons; Rene Chasco of Tulia and Michael Chasco of Tulia, three sisters; Dora Lisa Tamez, Adela Tamez and Lupe Chasco, all of Edinberg, three brothers; Felipe Garza, Jr. Tamez and Francisco Tamez, all of Edinberg and 14 grandchildren.
