Lorraine Rivera (Plainview)

Lorraine Rivera, 47, of Plainview passed away on February 26, 2014 in Lubbock. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, March 3, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Arsenio Redulla officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A rosary will be held at 6:00 P.M., Sunday, March 2, 2014 at Kornerstone Chapel. Lorraine was born on November 10, 1966 to Jesse & Margaret Rivera in Plainview, TX. She graduated from Plainview High School in 1985, where she a part of the Powerhouse of the Plains Marching Band. She attended Galleria Beauty School and became a cosmetologist. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Manuel & Felis Rodriquez and Ernesto & Nacha Rivera. She is survived by her parents, Jesse & Margaret Rivera of Plainview; two sisters, Suzy Sarabia & husband Victor of Lubbock, TX, and Rachel Gonzales & husband Paul of Plainview, TX; 4 nieces and nephews, Nicole, Gino, Mikayla and A.J.; her faithful canine companion, Hercules; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
