Tulia, Texas—Vivian Olson, 98, died Friday, July 11, 2008 at her home in Tulia. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, July 14, 2008 in the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Ernie McGaughey, officiating and assisted by Rev. Kay Reed. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Vivian Olson was very devoted to the women’s work of the Methodist Church having been a charter member of the Women’s Society of Christian Service now known as United Methodist Women. Vivian was also a member of the Women’s Study Club and a charter member of the 1934 Study Club. She is preceded in death by her parents; Ben H. and Claudia (Stephen) Frazier, her husband; Amos Olson, her brother; Robert Frazier, a son-in-law; Harrell Cothran, a daughter-in-law; Maple Cowan and a grandchild; Cozette Cowan. Survivors include one son and his fiancé; Robert Cowan and Nancy Howell of Bandera, Texas, two daughters; Lee Etta Cothran of Henryetta, Oklahoma and Dejah Cowan of the home, a special friend; Paul Webb of Tulia, seven grandchildren; Roberta Weadley of Denver, Colorado, Laura Beehler of Converse, Texas, Susan Ohse of Topeka, Kansas, Claudia Vincent of Kingwood, Texas, Pam Flood of Claremore, Oklahoma, Mike Cothran of Lucedale, Mississippi and Jeff Cothran of Orlando, Florida, thirteen great grandchildren; Kedri Anglin, Robert Ballantyne, Michael Perkins, Jennifer Andis, Lizabeth White, Lindsey Ohse, Annalise Ohse, Rachel Brown, Ryan Brown, Ashley Laubach, Mandy Flood, Ben Cothran and Emily Cothran and nine great, great grandchildren; Jack Anglin, Daniel Finn Anglin, Ragen Andis, Sarah Andis, Taylor Jane Andis, Jeremy Perkins, Evan Perkins Vivian Laubach and Addison Laubach.
