Amelia Cline (Plainview)

Amelia Cline, 71, of Plainview passed away on Monday, March 10, 2014. Graveside funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 12, 2014 in Plainview Memorial Park with her Son-in-law Rev. Gary Sherlock officiating. A visitation will be held prior to the graveside starting at 1:00 P.M. at Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Amelia was born on September 2, 1942 in Plainview to L.D. and Sally Teague. She grew up in Plainview and graduated from Plainview High School in 1957. She then attended South Plains College and Wayland Baptist University. She married Bruce Cline in 1960. She was the Director of the Life Long Learning Center at Wayland Baptist University for 28 years before retiring in 2005. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and the Eastern Star. Amelia was preceded in death by her parents, and a son, Bruce Wayne Cline. Survivors include her husband, Bruce Cline of Plainview; two daughters, Kimberly Diane Sherlock of Ft.Worth, Deborah DeAnn Ryan of Frisco; 8 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; and one brother, Jimmy Teague of Concord, California.
