Mevlida Dizdarevic (Plainview)

Mevlida Dizdarevic, 51, of Plainview, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2014 in Lubbock. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Kornerstone Funeral Chapel with Chaplain Oscar Chavez officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A family visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 on Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Mevlida was born on February 12, 1963 to Ramiz & Demila Isakovic Sarajevo, Bosnia. She married Asim on August 25, 1989 in Bosnia. Together they brought their family to the United States in 1997 and moved to Plainview in 2004. Her family was her first priority. Mevlida loved her children and would do anything for them. She was a homemaker who loved raising animals and gardening. She is preceded in death by her father, Ramiz. She is survived by her husband, Asim Dizdarevic; three daughters, Amra, Dulka & Amela Dizdarevic; her mother, Demila Isakovic; one brother, Idriz; two sisters, Dika & Sefika; and one grandbaby on the way.
